Local Heroes is a non-profit organization for local teens building community.

While some members have since graduated, their vision lives on. From the start, the founders — Max Cohen, Marley Kurzer, Sammi Kurzer, Greg Soderberg, Zack Soderberg, and Logan Velez — envisioned a youth-led group serving local areas.

As a youth-led organization, the board members are responsible for researching, planning, and coordinating hands-on service projects. From helping underprivileged youth to animal rescue, food drives, and more…
